Global Commodity Markets. Strategic Connections. Commercial Execution.
OMBO Consulting provides independent commodity brokerage and origination across selected physical markets, connecting buyers, suppliers and trading counterparties and supporting the commercial steps required to bring a transaction into view.
As an independent intermediary, rather than a buyer, seller or financier of material ourselves, we apply market knowledge and direct counterparty engagement on behalf of clients with a defined commercial requirement.

A structured six-stage process
OMBO takes a defined commodity requirement into the market through six stages.
Requirement Identification
We agree the commercial requirement with you: the material, grade or specification, volumes, geography and any constraints on the approach.
Counterparty Origination
We identify and engage potential buyers, suppliers or trading counterparties whose profile is consistent with the requirement.
Commercial Qualification
We assess whether interest is genuine and whether the counterparty is commercially compatible with the requirement, including capacity and intent.
Terms Alignment
Where there is a fit, we support discussion of the commercial terms that matter: specification, pricing basis, quantity and delivery expectations.
Transaction Coordination
We help coordinate the practical steps between counterparties as a transaction develops, within the scope agreed with the client.
Execution Support
We provide commercial support through to execution, as agreed within the mandate. Execution itself remains between the transacting parties.
Commercial discipline on every transaction
- 1Specification & grade verification
- 2Quantity & delivery scheduling
- 3Pricing basis & benchmarking
- 4Payment terms & security
- 5Inspection & quality assurance
- 6Logistics & Incoterms
- 7Documentation & compliance
- 8Dispute resolution & governing law
